Project to Improve the Health and Resilience of Palestinian Older Persons in Gaza

Under the "Empowerment Programme for the Most Vulnerable and Vulnerable Palestinian Families"

The Society of Palestine Tomorrow, in partnership with the American Friends Services Authority, Quakers, implemented the project "Improving the Health and Resilience of Palestinian Older Persons in Gaza City", which targeted 150 cases of older persons of both sexes; Medical aids (walks, crutches, wheelchairs) as well as medical mattresses and pampers were provided.

The project has contributed to a positive impact on the health and resilience of older persons by enhancing the ability of older persons to carry out their daily work and helping them to achieve their desires and ease of movement inside and outside their whereabouts. It has also contributed to improving the health of older persons in overcoming their health and mobility problems.
