“Investing in youth is an investment in the future.”

Young people are the children of yesterday and wealth of the future. They are the fundamental basis of society’s development as they have great energy and creativity and they can make their society advanced through combining their efforts. At all times and places, young people are the mainstay of the nation, the secrets of its renaissance and the leaders of its path to future prosperity.

Alongside, they have energy, strength and enthusiasm qualifying them to develop their community through their work, efforts, determination and patience in the direction of development and progress and making use of their talents for the benefit of themselves and others in the community.

Youth, the most important group, constitute 30% of Palestinian society. Consequently, they need to invest their energies, build their capabilities, and ensure their rights to be capable of creating a better change, especially in the light of the conflict and the difficult social and economic crises in the Gaza Strip led to high unemployment and poverty. As young people are the most affected by these crises, youth empowerment program aims to implement projects in order to qualify them for the labor market, train them to work remotely and support their thoughts and their distinguished initiatives contributing to building the society. Youth empowerment program benefits more than 1,000 Palestinians.
