Psychological Support Program

It aims to provide children with psychological support to help them in getting rid of abnormal behaviors and posttraumatic stress disorders (PTSD) caused by the situation in the Gaza Strip through psychological first aid, abreaction for children and mothers and individual psychotherapy sessions. Moreover, the program seeks to enrich children with soft skills to enable them to face different life challenges and integrate them into the family and society.

In addition, it aims to address the behavioral and emotional troubles that children suffer from through sports and cultural activities and handicrafts. In collaboration with international organizations, such as Save the Children, Palestine Tomorrow for Social Development has implemented many psychological support sessions for marginalized families in the eastern regions of the Gaza Strip. In addition, the organization has made a great number of recreational trips for orphans and impoverished families to alleviate their suffering and make them feel happy. Psychological support program serves more than 1,000 people annually, as well.
