Maintenance project (3) desalination plants in dispersed areas of the Gaza Strip 2023


The water crisis is one of the hardest problems facing the population of the Gaza Strip in the light of the deterioration of the water sector as a result of the blockade and the lack of capacity; 97% of drinking water in the sector is inadequate to the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). Among its great interest in implementing development projects under the water sector that correspond to the needs of our invading society, the Society has implemented and completed a maintenance project. (3) Desalination plants in dispersed areas of the Gaza Strip with generous funding from the Development Charity Association and philanthropists from the sister State of Kuwait.


In the framework of the endeavour of the Association of Palestine tomorrow to provide healthy drinking water on an ongoing basis, as water is the lifeline, the collar of survival and the best handouts, as the Messenger of Allah said, " "The Association has rehabilitated and maintained three desalination plants for three mosques in Gaza City (Zakat Mosque, Station Mosque, Al-Aibki Mosque) and benefited more than 600 Palestinian families, as well as worshippers, mosque-goers and Abri Al-Sabeel.


The project has had a good impact on the general health of families living next to the three mosques as well as worshippers and crossers in recovery and recovery from diseases caused by salinity and contamination of drinking water The project has also contributed to solving the problem of contamination and salinity of drinking water at desalination plants after the availability of maintenance service, and thus the three plants have returned to work normally in purifying and treating drinking water to be usable and thereby providing sustainable drinking water.
